SISU Health has been named in BusinessCloud’s 2026 HealthTech 50, recognising the company as one of the UK’s leading health technology businesses. The inclusion reflects the growing importance of technologies that make preventative healthcare more accessible.

Recognising innovation in preventative healthcare

The annual ranking showcases UK companies creating original technology that is helping to improve healthcare, including personal and preventative health services.

Following the publication of a 102-company shortlist, the final HealthTech 50 was determined through a combination of expert judging and public voting.

We’re delighted to be recognised among the UK’s leading HealthTech businesses. This reflects the commitment of our team and partners to making preventative healthcare more accessible – reaching people beyond traditional healthcare settings and helping identify risk before it develops into more serious ill health.

Tackling hidden health risks through earlier intervention

Many preventable health conditions develop without obvious symptoms, meaning opportunities for early intervention are often missed. This is particularly true for people who face barriers to accessing traditional health services or are less likely to engage with routine health checks.

The recognition comes as SISU Health continues to expand its work with NHS organisations, local government, employers and community partners, while accelerating the development of our next-generation technology – combining connected health checks, personalised digital journeys and advanced population insights to transform how health risks are identified and prevented at scale.

Data highlights the need for accessible prevention

Data from more than 1.4 million health checks highlights the scale of previously unidentified health risks across the population.

  • Nearly 68% of users had not had their blood pressure checked in the previous 12 months
  • More than 271,000 GP call-to-actions have been generated following health checks
  • 61.7% of participants were overweight or obese
  • 14.2% were identified with high blood pressure

We have demonstrated both the demand for accessible prevention and the potential of connected health data to support better decisions.

Supporting the future of preventative healthcare

Recognition in the HealthTech 50 reflects the growing shift towards prevention across healthcare, workplaces and local communities. As organisations continue to look for practical ways to improve population health and reduce inequalities, accessible health technologies will play an increasingly important role in helping more people engage with preventative care.
