Across Suffolk and North East Essex , undiagnosed hypertension is a significant public health challenge, particularly among populations less likely to engage with traditional healthcare services.
To address this, NHS Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care System partnered with SISU Health to place self-service health stations in accessible community locations, enabling residents to complete quick health checks and identify potential cardiovascular risk factors.
This evaluation explores the outcomes of the programme, including participation levels, health risks identified and the impact on reaching underserved communities.
