Jagular Land Rover (JLR) partnered with SISU Health to bring preventive health directly onto the factory floor. With 19 self-service kiosks deployed across UK sites, more than 19,700 health checks have been completed – giving over 10,000 employees an accessible way to understand and act on their health.
JLR’s diverse workforce spans office and manufacturing roles. For production employees – predominantly men aged 30–50 – shift-based work patterns can make it harder to access traditional health services, so bringing prevention directly to the workplace offered a valuable solution.
As with the wider UK population, lifestyle-related health risks such as elevated blood pressure, weight management and smoking were areas where additional support could make a real difference.
Their employee health profile highlighted an opportunity to strengthen prevention and early intervention. JLR sought a solution that could make health support accessible and convenient for every employee, including those on the factory floor.
We know this demographic is more likely to experience ill health – but they’re also the hardest to reach. Many of our people work in hands-on roles with structured shifts, so we wanted to make accessing health support as easy and convenient as possible.

SISU Health’s medical-grade kiosks offered employees a fast, confidential way to measure key health metrics – including blood pressure, BMI, smoking status, stress score and QRISK – without appointments, downloads or disruption.
Kiosks were placed in high-traffic areas across JLR sites, while roaming units ensured equal access for smaller or remote locations. Initially a like-for-like replacement for legacy kiosks, the partnership quickly expanded to support on-site NHS Health Checks, with secure data capture and seamless referral pathways.
We wanted to break the mould. SISU Health’s openness to experimentation and their track record of innovation made that possible.
The rollout was designed around JLR’s workforce demographics, shift patterns and site-specific needs. Collaboration extended beyond JLR to include local councils, GP practices and occupational health providers, ensuring employees could move smoothly from self-check to clinical care when needed.
The health stations not only identified significant unmet health needs but also enabled employees to monitor progress and sustain lifestyle changes over time.
These results show just how powerful workplace health can be when it meets people where they are. JLR reached a group that’s often hardest to engage and gave them easy access to preventative checks during the working day.
The impact is clear: fewer employees smoking, lower blood pressure among repeat users, and thousands more now aware of their health risks. For JLR, this isn’t just about individual wellbeing – it’s about building a healthier, more productive workforce, with the potential to reduce absence and long-term costs.
We’ve had people say this programme saved their life. They came in feeling fine and left with a diagnosis that changed everything.
This initiative demonstrated that workplace health checks can be more than a compliance exercise – they can act as a gateway to lasting health improvements. By embedding prevention directly into the workday, JLR reached employees who might otherwise never engage with NHS Health Checks.
Beyond individual outcomes, the programme highlighted broader organisational benefits. Reduced smoking, lower obesity and better blood pressure management are strongly linked with improved productivity, reduced absenteeism and long-term cost savings.
It’s not just about identifying risk. It’s about making it easy to act on it – right then and there.
The programme also created a foundation for long-term impact tracking, with SISU Health’s platform enabling ongoing insight into workforce health trends.
JLR’s success shows how embedding prevention into the workday drives engagement, improves outcomes, and creates a scalable model for corporate health.
