SISU Health has joined the 11th cohort of Tech Nation Upscale, a programme supporting some of the UK’s most ambitious high-growth technology businesses. Over the next 12 weeks, the company will gain access to experienced scale-up leaders, investors and advisors to help support its next stage of growth.

Joining one of the UK’s leading scaleup programmes

Tech Nation Upscale is designed for high-growth technology companies that have moved beyond the startup phase and are focused on the challenges of scaling.

The programme provides access to experienced founders, investors and specialist advisors, alongside workshops, peer learning and networking opportunities covering topics such as fundraising, international expansion, leadership, culture and AI.

The 2026 cohort was officially launched at Mansion House in London on 21 September, bringing together founders, investors, programme partners and members of the wider Tech Nation network.

Being selected for Tech Nation Upscale feels like a real milestone for SISU Health.

We’re now at an important point where we can really benefit from learning from other ambitious technology businesses and people who have successfully navigated that next stage of growth.

For me personally, it’s also valuable to become part of a peer group of CEOs and founders facing many of the same challenges.

Preparing for the next stage of growth

Over recent years, SISU Health has rapidly expanded the reach of its preventative health technology across workplaces, communities and healthcare settings, helping organisations make health support more accessible while building a growing evidence base around population health.

As SISU Health continues to grow, the programme will provide opportunities to learn from experienced scale-up leaders and connect with investors, advisors and potential strategic partners.

As Sam reflected:

We have ambitious plans for SISU Health, including expanding our UK footprint, developing our data and health intelligence capabilities and taking more of what we have built into international markets.

The programme will provide support across a range of those topics. Building relationships with other technology leaders, investors, potential strategic partners and the wider Tech Nation community will also be incredibly valuable.

Lessons from fellow founders and scaleup leaders

The opening ceremony brought together founders from across the cohort alongside investors, advisors and industry leaders.

For Samantha, one of the most valuable aspects of the evening was the opportunity to connect with businesses facing many of the same growth challenges.

What stood out most was the calibre and variety of the businesses and leaders in the room.

Although we’re operating in very different sectors, many of the conversations came back to remarkably similar questions: how to scale without losing focus, where AI genuinely changes the business rather than simply adding another tool, how leadership needs to evolve, and how to build the right relationships for the next stage of growth.

For SISU Health, that combination of practical learning and a strong peer network is exactly what I hope to get from Upscale. I’m looking forward to seeing where the conversations – and the programme – take us.

What’s next for SISU Health

The Upscale programme runs over the coming months and includes sessions focused on AI, fundraising, international expansion, investor engagement, leadership and scaling operations.

For SISU Health, the programme represents an opportunity to learn from some of the UK’s most experienced scale-up leaders while building relationships that can help accelerate the company’s next phase of growth.
