SISU Health has won the Advancement in Patient Care & Health Outcomes award at the Life Sciences Gala Dinner & Awards 2026. The award recognises SISU Health’s work to make preventative health support more accessible through technology, data and personalised health insights, supported by a growing evidence base built from nearly 1.5 million health checks.
The Life Sciences Gala Dinner & Awards is a flagship event within Life Sciences Week, a five-day national programme bringing together leaders from academia, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, business, policy and public services.
Held at the University of Birmingham’s Great Hall on 24 September, the awards celebrated innovation, collaboration and excellence across the life sciences sector. The ceremony included five categories spanning breakthrough innovation, collaboration, patient outcomes, emerging talent and outstanding contribution to the industry.
The Advancement in Patient Care & Health Outcomes category recognises innovations that make a measurable difference to patient outcomes.
Judging criteria for the award included measurable impact, patient-centred design, evidence and rigour, scalability, and the potential to reduce health inequalities.
The award organisers described SISU Health as creating “healthier people, stronger communities and more resilient organisations through accessible, data-driven health solutions”. They also highlighted the organisation’s ability to meet people where they are and reach those often missed by traditional health services.
Our work is about making prevention accessible and helping people improve their health. And it’s especially meaningful for us to win an award focused on outcomes.
SISU Health has worked hard to build an evidence base from our nearly 1.5 million health checks and this shows both the scale of unmet health need and the impact of bringing personalised prevention closer to people’s everyday lives.
We’re delighted to win this award and proud of our team’s work to make prevention practical and impactful at scale.
Samantha Fay, CEO, SISU Health
Kiran Sehmi, who collected the award on the night, added:
It was a real privilege to represent SISU Health and collect the award on behalf of our entire team.
The recognition reflects the passion, commitment and hard work of everyone across the organisation, as well as our shared determination to improve access to preventative healthcare and help reduce health inequalities.
The judges particularly recognised SISU Health’s ability to combine innovative health technology with meaningful, measurable outcomes. A key strength that distinguished our submission was the quality, reliability and depth of the data demonstrating how SISU Health advances patient outcomes.

The award provides independent recognition of SISU Health’s work to make preventative health checks more accessible and effective.
By placing self-service health checks in workplaces and communities, SISU Health and its partners can reach more people, identify previously unchecked risks and connect individuals with appropriate support earlier.
This helps make prevention part of everyday life while giving organisations the evidence they need to understand health needs and improve outcomes at scale.
